Appearance: Sigma is a pale, slender, young man with long, two-toned hair. The left side of his hair is lilac and the right side of his hair is white. His hair is layered and is styled into loose, choppy spikes. His eyes are gray in the manga and pink in the anime. Sigma wears high-heel shoes, black slacks, a white button-up shirt with loose sleeves and a black turtleneck sweater underneath, a gray tie, and a long coat. His coat is a very light gray with a medium gray lapel. It has an arrow-shaped cutout in the back and the lining is a dark purple with either a galactic or glittery design.

Personality: Sigma appears to be a very confident and capable casino manager, but his confidence is an act. In reality, he doesn't have much faith in his abilities and breaks down by himself. He is desperate for a home and a purpose, and because his casino is the closest thing he has to a home and a family, he will do anything for it. He sacrifices sleep to memorize the details of his customers, will purposely allow customers to win while gambling, and is even willing to die if it means protecting his casino. He is very sweet to his customers, but is angered easily by people who mess with him.

Backstory: Sigma was written into existence using the Book three years before BSD takes place. He woke up in a desert with no memories or family, only possessing the clothes he was wearing and a train ticket for a station that doesn't exist. Sigma wandered aimlessly until being kidnapped by human traffickers and forced to use his ability to aid them in their crimes. He eventually escaped and was found by Fyodor Dostoevsky, a member of the Decay of the Angel. Fyodor offered Sigma a home in exchange for using his ability to find a page from the Book. In exchange for using his ability, Sigma is granted ownership of the Sky Casino, a floating casino that was created from the Book like Sigma himself. The casino is a front for the terrorism of the Decay of the Angel. Sigma does not like being involved in terrrorism, but does enjoy managing the casino and helping his customers. Sigma has been repeatedly used for his ability throughout his life and discarded when he was no longer needed, so he yearns for a place where he truly belongs.
